While some ask because they really do not understand and have read the bible, your last sentance sums it up pretty good, Mockers. So it was fortold.

My answer:

In my opinion, there are 3 major reasons people ask so many questions about the Bible.

First, and probably the most common reason, is curiosity.

Second, some people wish to refute and/or decrease the credibility of God's Word.

Third, some people wish to learn.

By the way, you claimed,

"...they are JUST MOCKING GOD".

But if you remember what the Bible says, in Galatians 6:7,

"God cannot be mocked".

I am not sure what you mean by, "...they are JUST MOCKING GOD"

I hope this answers your query.

I have a collection of Bibles. I've read them all and quoted the contradictions on this forum. I truly believe that Christians seldom go further than what their shouter tells them to memorize for arguing. They are ignorant in so many ways, but the worst is they are ignorant of the fact that their perfect Bibles are brought out with various changes at least 4 times a year. I do not mock your God because I believe in all Gods. Why do you mock my Gods? Are you bigotted toward a single God that won't even give its true name?

A bit of a lesson out of your Bible that you have apparently never read. "Do unto others as you would have done to yourself." Nope it's not King James, but it is a quote from a Christian Bible.

And, get off the Atheists. You may think that you and yours were created by your God........But it is a downright truth that the hatered spewed by Christians creates Atheists out of both Christians and other religionist....especially when it comes to your No Name God.

Most people are searching for the answer. They don't know where to look, or they have not got the Holy Spirit to help them understand the Bible. Some people are mocking, but this is a great place to be a true witness for Christ.

In all seriousness - If I ask a Biblical question, it's to see how the bible is interpreted. Further, the bible has been shown to be poorly translated at best, so it cannot be the "word of god". I have read the bible, which is why I have questions to ask. To read and not question... what's the point?

Also - just a suggestion - write out your sentences like normal people. It's extremely hard to read with all the pointless periods in a sentence like that.

Nothing creates atheists so surely as a slow and careful reading of the Bible. Please note that this is nothing like attending a Bible study group, where an authority figure blatantly brainwashes his students by cherry-picking scripture and telling them what they're supposed to think it means. If you wish to know why good people become atheists, read the Bible for yourself -- word for word and cover to cover.

In my experience we atheists have read more of the bible, the whole bible, than most Christians, we just treat it as a work of fiction.

Be careful who you are calling ignorant.

The only stupid question is the one that is never asked! A lot of people are searching for more......Like an old song said "If That's All There Is."

They are asking so many questions because they do not want to read it or pray for understanding and enlightenment on the Bible's words.

I have read the bible. It was a complete waste of my time. Everything in it was a total oxymoron. Every religion is hypocritical, including Christianity. Anyone can interpret the bible in millions of different ways to suit their needs. I know not to murder, cheat, lie, and steal. I didn't need to read a book to know that.
