Atheists have many views about religion. Most of us are atheist because we've studied alternate belief systems.
And if you don't believe in evolution, then maybe you should study Biology to understand the evidence in favor of it, or at least why you dislike it.
Your question reveals more about your disinterest in other subjects than in learning something on this board. If you came here to confirm what you agree with, why even ask questions?

You don't believe in evolution in spite of the overwhelming clear and unambigious evidence for it. Claims that there is no eveidence for this are FALSE..!
It seems ANY who have knowledge and understanding of mainstream scientific principles and concepts are labelled "evolutionists", where as this is only one part of the many fields and disciplines within mainstream science.
It's typical to see these arguments broken down into misinformed, simplistic and infantile retorts by the religious set, but it only exposes their sheer ignorance and denial about what science REALLY is, and that is explaining the evidence found in the natural world around us.
Science has no agenda to either prove or disporve the existance of yours or any other god/gods.
However the religious set attempt to discredit science with misinformation, misquotes, ignorance, denial and outright lies..
Can you see the difference yet..??

Look at that last part. Maybe you should go to an evolution site to learn more about it. I like learning about different religions, even if I don't believe in any of them.

It's an enjoyable way to spend my free time. And most atheists, like myself, do have an interest in religion although they don't have any faith in it. They just want to understand what different religions are about, compare and contrast, seek similarities, and ask questions about things that don't make sense to them.

Just because we don't believe in your god doesn't mean that we aren't concerned about the welfare of our world. In fact we are here because religious belief is also a political belief. And that's true whether you like it or not.
PS It's probably better that as someone who doesn't believe in evolution that you aren't talking about it, since you obviously know nothing about the subject.
Educate yourself!

God, if you didn't know, is a whole different thing that religion.
Non Christians in the US have serious reasons to be concerned with religion.

Because I am interested in religion. Just because it interests me dosen't mean I believe in it...those who study mythology are interested in it but don't believe in it.
