if the tags on the plates say may 07. are they officially expired on may 31 of 07, or do you have a 30 day grace period.

You are expired. Renew before you drive again. Why would you think May would mean the end of June? You can renew today, on-line, assuming you don't have to do an emissions test this year, but it will take several days to get your tags, so, unless you really have to drive tomorrow, I would renew in person on Monday to get the tags immediately.

Wow alot of wrong answers. Most of them assume your using the vehicle on expired tags which you may, but lets not assume. In Ohio you have 30 days past registration before the late fee kicks in. You will get fined if your caught on public land with expired tags.

There is usually no grace period anywhere, just more charges and if you get caught driving without updated tags...That's more money. Better rush into the DMV or go online and do it!

I don't think any State allows a grace period; the day they expire is set and that's it!

tags expired on your birthday not last day of month and no grace period

NOPE. The only grace period is for new purchase of a vehicle, and moving.

No this is june your out! And cops watch for any reason to stop cars. A $50.00 dollar regristration ticket is good enough

yes, some states only have 5 days though so double check on different states
