Some nights i get a feeling that the trees are alive, and there is an atmosphere in the air. I do not see things black and white, plain and simple like most people. I get feelings of fear and a parranoia that consumes me and it also feels like i am ment tobe somewhere else or i am not belonging in my body.

I am ment to fly into space like a spirit or something and become free from myself. When the weather is warm like now and i go out something consumes my senses and it feels like the world is melting or i am missing out on something and not fulfilling my full desires? i dont know. its like an anxiety and general fearfull/worrysome feeling.

The trees in my yard are alive, too.

The bushes and flowers in my yard are alive as well.

So, take heart, you are not alone.

I don't think it's an extra sense, but I do think you are very open to feelings that most people shut down. My guess is we are all aware of this as babies but we don't yet know enough to know it, if you see what I mean. Somehow you've kept hold of that capacity (and many people take drugs to try to recreate it, as some of the rather flippant answers here indicate). But it is also scarey because then it's not clear where you end and the rest of the world begins. Try doing a basic sort of meditation - with your eyes open, look at an object you like (something small, perhaps a leaf or a stone) and really observe it. Then let yourself merge with it and feel what it is like to be it - and then come back to knowing you are separate and different.

So long as you manage with everyday life most of the time, have some friends or at least acquaintances, get yourself to school/work or whatever, you do not need to rush off to get any sort of treatment. If, however, these things have become difficult, good psychotherapy would be helpful.

Whatever else you do, please, please, change the awful name you have given yourself on here. I had to try to ignore it to take you seriously. I hope I haven't been made a fool of.

That's not an extra sense; it's normal, but possibly a bit exaggerated. You might be a bit oversensitive to some feelings that others usually ignore, or you might be a bit unbalanced (chemically or emotionally).

Trees ARE alive, and the atmosphere IS pretty tangible. Lots of people complain that they feel trapped or grounded by ordinary life, they want to fly and they must be missing out on something more, which is just out of reach.

Some people worry all the time, too.

I think the usual way of coping with these feelings is to find things that you're interested enough in, to spend time thinking about instead of thinking about the stuff you're worried by.

If that doesn't work (or it wears off after many years, the usual response is to have a 'mid-life crisis', usually involving motorbikes or something similar. That probably doesn't get rid of the feelings, but it must be fun anyway.

This is a very interesting question, and I am very sorry for all hate daft answers you have had. A young relative of mine has a condition which means he gets disorientated while being still, but I am not sure of the details. It may be something physiological, not psychological. Any way, I am really sorry you feel so bad about everything and I urge you to go to a counselling service and find someone to talk to. Good luck.

If you are having an extra sense, don't panic. Try to control it some how and use it for your advantage. Not every one in the world are blessed like you. Take it as a gift of God and ask His help to become useful for you.
You have been placed on this world for a purpose. Ask God what that purpose is and ask Him to guide you. God bless you.

Its Spring time sweet. You want to fly and be free,
The fear and paranoia needs to be discussed with a professional. Are you on any prescribed medication?
You could be sensitive to the change of weather, warm times make you feel good, but you reflect on the dark times in the cold dank Winter.
Maybe its not anxiety you feel but restlessness, the desire to go out, leap and shout, move, do something different; celebrate the coming of better days.
Of course I could be talking out of my a**e!

I do not want to hurt you in any way. I do feel that you need professional help. With all that you see and imagine things do not seem right, and it would help you to get into therapy and see a doctor right away. This is not normal behaivior or thinking.

well, there is a mental conditon called Generalized Anxiety Disorder. They have pills for it. And when combined with a sincere effort at the shrinks office, over time, one can actually get off the pills & live life with manageable anxiety. I did.
Good luck.

Try to relax more and just spend time relaxing on your bed, play some calming music and count your breath.

During your calm and relaxed state seek the answer to calming yourself when you are out on the street, what is it you can do to calm yourself in those situations.

Even if you do not feel at one with this life and this body and this planet - just try to relax into living here now and for the duration - Enjoy.

Have a great life.
