that you will not allow your daughter(s) to own/play with?
If so, which one(s) and why have you forbidden them to play with them?
In my situation, I will not allow my daughters to play with BRATZ dolls. They are dressed inappropriately and trashy.
And as far as the cartoon goes(I only saw a part of it briefly), I see now how they got the name BRATZ.

No spoiled sport here. Of course I was a kid but there were more appropriate toys back then.

I'm with you on the Bratz thing.
Another thing I don't let my kids play with (I have a 7 year old girl and 3 year old boy) and that is toy guns - I don't care what they look like - I don't what color they are - they are not allowed. I have a cousin who's kid is 4 and he's obessed with guns. When we go over there to play he chases you around all day pointing these guns at you - it's creepy.

I have 5 kids, my oldest being a 9 yo girl. I agree that the fashions they portray on Bratz dolls are ridiculous, have you seen the Bratz babies? But, I don't forbid my kids to play with any toys, even Bratz. I have the mindset that if I put something in the spotlight as "forbidden", then it's more likely to create issues of rebellion.
My daughter dresses modestly, she's seen me turn my nose up at all the SHORT shorts every store flaunts as fashion options for our young daughters these days. You can bet she won't be exposing her belly button either, as she values my opinion. To secure that, I honor that Bratz dolls are "SO cool", even though I personally think the MyScene ones are MUCH cooler.

I agree, I hate bratz, it teaches some very very bad lessons about a womens role in life. Women can do anything a man can do if they study had and persevere. Bratz just teach a girl to look like the magazines want yout to look, spend and lead a trivial life.

In agree. I hate those dolls! I will also not let her have 10 different Barbies, Cabbage Patch dolls or My Little Pony's. 2-3 of each is more then plenty. Its such a waste to have all those toys that are never played with.
