If you want to be known as a good breeder then wait till the dog is fully grown around 2yrs of age and has had all nessesary health testing done (hips etc) if you truely want to be a good breeder then these tests are nessesay and will help you towards having healthy puppies. having shown your dog as well will help prove you are trying to better the breed. but keep in mind why do you really want to breed? if your answer is money then dont do it cause pups cost more than you will ever make. if your answer is it would be nice for her to have babies then thats not good enough cause a dog can loose its life giving birth or other difficulties and can also change there temperment. pups are alot of work and alot of money , there can be alot of heart ache etc involved in breeding. sure puppies are cute but what about losing puppies? or defects? how do you know they wont be bought from someone who is going to fight them, how do you know that person will really take care of the pup,(you wont)or all the ailments that puppies or momma's can have. and there are so many dogs (purebreds and mutts) in shelters that will never walk out the door. dont contribute to the problem.

I did go to their website, however will admit that I didn't look in any respect of it. There are a couple of red flags that I see. To start with, they just isn't breeding an eleven yr historical b*tch and it even says on their internet site that they follow *the code of ethics.* good, the code of ethics set by using the country wide breed membership stays that SIX is the oldest they should be bred, so these persons ARE liars. Also, after I was once looking at one of the pix, they're worried with KIMBERTAL kennels, which is a massive puppy mill that additionally breeds Dobermans. They do not breed to the AKC commonplace. In fact, that you may special get them organized if you wish to have a dog that is going to be gigantic alternatively of the correct top/ordinary. I might RUN far from this breeder, now not walk, and by no means look back. Their dogs are crap!

If your dog is very special, then I would consider breeding. There are too many dogs out there that are not treated properly and live a terrible life.
Usually a dog can be bred at 2 years old.

It is recommended to wait at least until your femal's second season, because if too young when breeding ,they usually aren't good mothers and don't understand how to care for their young.First season of a female can be around 7 to 12 months of age, then around 5 to 6 months after first season.

that depends on the dog some are full grown at 1 year and others at 2. Also really check into what all is in breeding of dogs.
Laws, vets, shots, genetic test on both parents.
