According to the paycheck calculator, if you earn $400 a week, and you are filing as single, the breakdown will be like this:

Weekly Gross Pay: $400
Federal Withholding: $45.17
Social Security: $24.80
Medicare: $5.80

State taxes-0 (since you live in TX like I do!)

Total Net Wages: $324.23 per week--less any health plan premium

But, since you said that you have a health insurance plan, does that mean that they deduct $110 per month or per pay period? You will have to deduct that from your net pay or just wait until you get your first pay stub to see how the breakdown is! $400 a week sounds pretty good, but after taxes and healthcare deductions, it really takes a chunk out of your weekly wages.

All deduction including Social security, medical, State and Federal taxes are shown on the pay stub if you are getting W2. But if you are getting 1088, then you have to pay your taxes quarterly. You have to use professional for than!!!
