I've told my son that when we're in public he is to call me Mr. Yorgason rather than Dad. He keeps forgetting. I've warned him and warned him.

You are a disgrace to humanity like many (though by all means not all) Fathers.
You are dealing with an eight-year-old CHILD - cannot you understand that and cannot YOU think back to when you were eight years of age?
I am only too glad that I brought my boys up without a so-called "father" such as yourself.
Children need love and support - and they need (ideally) a (CARING and SENSITIVE) Father and Mother and they should KNOW that that is the case both in how they are treated AND how they address them and are ADDRESSED (which should be lovingly).
What a truly awful man you are - I only hope that your SON has a decent Mother to care for him (and decent male role models other than yourself).

Once again....as with your last question. You are rediculously cruel. You need to stop this afwul behavior around your son. He's just a little boy. He deserves to be loved by his father. Give him the love and attention he needs, because you are molding the person he is going to be later in life and I hope for the sake of all of us he does not act like you. Show your son the respect he deserves. Maybe you should just stay out of him life.
I hope that these questions you've been asking on her and just to get us riled up rather than being serious. For your sons sake.

In two weeks, we celebrate a day called FATHER'S DAY, not Mr. Yorgason day. Do you want a card, or don't you?
His punishment should be to take away your computer, TV, fishing poles, whatever else you like until you learn to be a respectable DAD.

I sure would hate to have a dad like you. My dad was rough on me but I always knew who my "DAD" was.? your such a ******** I would be ashamed to tell people you were my dad. I hope your kids find a good nursing home for you when you get old. I wouldn't have any desire to even know if you were alive if I were them. well first of all...are you embarassed of him calling you dad??...cuz thats rude you should let him call you dad...he loves you and you ARE HIS dad...not mr. yorgason...or whatever...and if he keeps on doing the stuff that you do not like then put him in the corner or give him a spanking and if that doesnt help tell him that if he does it again you are going to take away one of his fav toys...or no tv or whatever until he can learn to call you what you want him to

well.. that isn't a very good reason to punish your child. if he calls you dad then that means hes not ashamed of you so you shouldn't be ashamed of him either.& you better start stepping up or your son will be tramatized and might kill himself. even if they dont every child needs a stable, & good father figure, or they end up messed up, or needing therapy for the rest of their lives.
