well does she know you have a bf?
if she doesn't, then i suggest you take him home and introduce him to the fam. when your mom sees that hes decent and approving, the age won't even come up. allow your parents to conversate with him a bit, and see their reactions. being almost 16, he'll be more mature(which is always good).
also, tell them that you are aware of the consequences of your poor actions, and that you will be careful. if you're generally responsible, they won't be that bothered. whatever you do, don't lie about his age, since if they find out, you'll just lose your credibility.
however, i personally think the age is too much of a difference. he's a junior, i presume (or at least a soph.) and you are what? an 8th grader? because you are still in middle school and hes halfway through high school, it'll be hard to keep that relationship. (esp if you guys go to dif. schools) . also, since hes so much olderr and has been exposed to more things, he might start pressuring you to do things you don't want to (if you know what i mean..). and if he does pressure you, DON'T DO IT. you're stil twelve, and you have a loong future, so don't ruin it by making a mistake and think that you're in 'true love'.
hope this helped!

Probably the only reason you family is flipping out is because, they probably think he will make you do things you don't want to do. If you are saving yourself let them know that. Explain to them that you are old enough to know what responsibilities are, and that you have no plans of crossing that line. If you have already been involved intimately with this guy, then just simply let them know that you still know how to be responsible. Make sure you keep yourself protected, and be honest with yourself. Also invite him to be involved with the conversation, that way they can see that he is a good guy for you. Good Luck.

You are to young to call yourself dating a 16 year old. You know your Mom will disapprove and that's why you haven't told her yet. If you don't, your Grandparent's will and she'll probably be more upset then.

well you see...i had the same issue. all that matters is that age isnt anything but a number and your parents shouldnt care about how old he is...it only matters that you too love each other!

You are a child who thinks you know everything but have no clue what life and dating is all about.
Please, please, please talk to your parent(s) and tell them the truth. They will tell you what's right.
What makes you believe we (the strangers) are in your best interest and your own parents are not???
Silly Girl.
