Oily Hair

After dandruff, the main complaint of most teenagers is oily, greasy, or stringy hair. Unfortunately, your hair needs that oil. Glands in the scalp secrete oil for each of the hair's follicles. This oil actually allows the hair to slide through the scalp and protects the hair from the elements. The key is finding ways to cut down on some of those nasty oil spills. Wash your hair as often as you like, but use a mild shampoo and wash only once. You do not need to add a conditioner to oily hair. If you really want it drier, you can make it drier by having it permed or tinted

I have found the best range is made by Aveda-they do a selection of oil blends that can be massaged into the saclap or ino the hair to nourish and make it smell great.I put it in once a week and massage it in and in the morning it smells delicious even after shampooing.

Wot? Thumbs down to olive oil? Come now, it's brilliant ... not only does it make your hair shiny, it makes it smell nice too! I mix it with honey and leave it on for 2 hours before shampooing. Or you could try lemon oil. Even better, if you can find it, oil of bergamot (citron) ... you might have to go to Calabria to buy it though. Worth the trip. Ryanair to Reggio Calabria from Stansted.

Blend half of the avocado and 4 olives together. After shampooing the hair, apply like hair mask on through out the hair root but not the hair stem. Rinse off after 8 mins.

if you put some in a little spray bottle filled with water you could use whatever you liked best. don't use a lot as it will probably make your hair oily.

don't forget just a couple of drops to get the scent.
