Diet soda isn't the cause of weight gain, but it incorporates a craving for sweetness in with the false security that you are choosing the "healthy" alternative.
I fasted for about 5 days, and during a fast your body's reaction to harmful substances increaseses like tenfold. I drank diet soda for about two days in, and then all of a sudden I threw it all up...Ya, gross.
I am permanently off diet soda now because I work in the restaurant business and I saw the big ol cans of CO2 they use to carbonate the soda.
It really is a gross thing to put into your body...

If your drinking diet soda that is 0 calories you won't gain weight from that. The sodium in it though, that would cause you to retain water. You should stop drinking diet soda now, I mean you can't drink diet soda the rest of your life, cause that stuff is nasty! Instead of sugar replacments try something with Stevia in it. Its a plant that provides the same sweetness as sugar, but very low calories, and it has so many health benifits. Good Luck

Diet Coke and similar products may have a moderate beneficial effect in a weight loss context only when drunk as part of a strict calorie controlled diet. Try Coke Zero

Diet Coke does have high levels of sodium. So you may retain more weight when drinking diet coke.

But other then that the caloric intake of diet coke vs water is about the same.

Yes. The artificial sweeteners in diet drinks can trigger your appetite making you eat more throughout the day, and therefore, gain weight. Diet soda is also carbonated, which can make you look bloated.

in case you initiate off eating frequently water as a replace of eating ordinary soda there's a solid probability it is going to help you shed some pounds. in case you initiate off eating everyday soda's or different sugary drinks this is confusing to declare. looking on how your physique works (truthfully everyone seems to be diverse) eating ordinary soda could desire to be extra powerful, worse, or with regard to comparable to sugary soda. Water and espresso fruit and vegetable juice (ideally a hundred% juice particularly than the extra low-priced stuff this is frequently sugar and corn syrup) is very virtually consistently extra powerful than any sort of soda.

It still has lots of other garbage inside (sugars, artifical colors and flavors) that will not react kindly to your body chemistry. Try ONLY water for 2 weeks. You should look and feel better.
