I believe that we are all the people and symbols in our dreams. So it's not about them being naked, it's about parts of your personality or your life where you feel vulnerable and want to cover or protect yourself.
So to understand the dream, ask yourself what your mom and your best friend represent for you? What are their defining characteristics? In what ways are you feeling vulnerable in your life? That's the substance of the dream. It's probably not sexual at all (unless you would characterize either of them as very sexual, in which case they might actually represent your own sexuality).
In the end, it's about your own vulnerability or transparency that you don't want others to see.

I would like to give you a different way of looking at your dreams, apart from the standard dream symbol process.
There are different types of dreams: Dreams where we are working out problems in our daily lives; dreams that are prophetic - providing information into our future; dreams based purely on the kind of food we ate prior to sleeping; dreams based on our fears and insecurities; dreams based on our aspirations and expectations; etc.
Rather than giving you a typical dream symbol methodology for interpreting your dream, first consider all the aspects of your dream, and how you felt while you were experiencing it. Then, began to analyze what you feel it means to you. I don't particularly believe that we can apply all dream symbols in general, because we all have different ways of seeing things, different paradigms, if you will, so I don't particularly find the dream symbols fit all the time.
Most importantly, it is not always so necessary to determine what a dream may mean anyway.
One of the best things to do is to relax, and ask your subconscious mind how you feel about the dream itself, how you feel about your friend, your mother, yourself, and what feelings arose when you were in the midst of this dream. You may be surprised at the answers you receive.

Naked can represent two things: (1) it can mean they will at some point be more transparent with their lives about the hidden things in darkness Or (2) nakedness can mean things about them which are hidden will be more obvious. What I mean is there are some things which you did not know about your friend and your mother which will shock you. Things which should not be done or talked about. Or the ugly side of them.

to be honest when i first read this i though...weird but that has to be the most comfortable way to be...naked...and the people you loved the most were able to be that way and just talk...seems you are more fortunate than you may realize...
