I always hoped so. Children have not yet reached the maturity nor learned enough about life to make decisive decisions like adults. Even teens haven't fully developed and seen enough of life, although they have a conscience. An adult has so much more time to turn around their lives in comparison to young people. What are your thoughts?

True about the age of accountability..there are seriously some 12 year olds I know that are more mature than some 25 year olds I know.

Kids have original sin though. Not all kids are good, but mostly kids are good. In fact all kids are more or less good. If they are bad its because they were falsely informed and aren't aware of the difference between right and wrong. I don't believe that kids go directly to Heaven. They'll go, but not directly. They certainly won't go to hell.

Until a child knows the difference between right and wrong, what a sin is and what God expects from them, they are innocent and sin free and will go straight into the loving arms of Jesus should they die at that age.

I believe that this simply depends on the exact age. Some young people are more mature than others. I for one, like to consider the Amish in regards to this subject. At one point in teenage years, they experience Rumspringa. This, traditionally, is a time in which Amish teens are allowed to break the rules. They may experiment with drugs, alcohol, sex, and other religions. During Rumspringa, young adults' main goals are to be baptized, and to find a spouse. After Rumspringa, each person is to choose whether they'd like to be Amish or not.

I think we all reach an age of accountibility at different times. It really just depends on the child. Some 3 and 4 yr.olds have a really good grasp about sin and forgiveness others, enough to see their need for Jesus. Other just don't understand. I think it just really depends on the child.

Jesus says they do.He said about children "Their spirits are always in the presence of my Father."
When King David's baby was ill,he mourned and fasted. When the child died,he got up,washed and ate .His servants were perplexed,He said" I know the child will not come back to me,but someday ,I will go to him".And he was comforted.
When people claim to hear the ghosts of children and such ,it is demonic entities trying to confuse and discourage folks.Make them think there is no hope.
My personal belief(as the children of Israel were before they entered the Promised Land)is twenty and younger are below the age of "accoutability".For God did not let anyone who came out of Egypt, above age 20 to enter the land because of their grieveous sins.

There is no after life that we know about. Don't worry about what happens to dead babies. You get one life to live, and that is it. The afterlife is unknown and based on faith. I choose to believe that my life is going to end at some point regaurdless of how much control I have on it. I can not be preocupied by man made myths about religion, and neither should you.

I'm not going to say on my believe weather Heaven exist or not, but I do believe children are innocent ( most of them ) and if someone is innocent he/she deserves to go to a good place where it's safe for them.

I believe so. In the Islamic religion, children's sins/deeds don't count until you reach puberty. And Allah swt (God) is most compassionate and merciful, and He knows that they haven't reached maturity. God knows best.

Yes, I believe they automatically go to heaven.

I also believe that the so-called "age of accountability" varies from person to person.

no i dont believe that anyone automatically goes to heaven...EVERYONE has choices big or small and if you make the wrong one at ANY age it was still your choice...not to say that anyone automatically goes to hell of they make the wrong choice but if you confess to God and ask for forgiveness you will be forgiven...there are many more reasons why i say no to this question but this is the main reason why i disagree
