person above, the new testament reinforces all of the punishments laid out in the ot. you can't cherry pick the bible passages that sound nice and leave the bad ones. all verses are equally subject to scrutiny.

First you are correct the bible is riddled with a vicious God including an infinite amount of contradictions from the perfect being. But, to not believe in some higher intelligence with the probability of that being if I remember correctly is about 68% is also ignorant- I dont mean that condescending just be open not closed minded it is a massive universe out there

There is such a book already. It's called state and federal lawbooks that allow capital punishment. Those people who carry out or support those laws are really atheists, no matter what they call themselves.

Christians feel they are immune from criticism regarding murder. There are many rationalizations available in the "good book", that exempts them from spiritual responsibility. I'm not sure why these people use the revisionist history presented in that book, but as long as they do, they will feel justified committing murder as

You're confused as to what constitues "murder". Just because under the Mosaic Law within the Mosaic society God advocated capital punishment does not mean he advocates murder. Quite the contrary. One of the 10 commandments is you shall not murder.
But as for you atheists - I assume mostly of whom are pro-abortionists, how do you justify the murder of tens of millions of babies? Had they committed a crime?

Whats the difference between my god setting rules and judgements for breaking them and our government. Without rules there would be utter chaos correct? I see it like this you believe there is no God whatsoever fine thats your choice and if you want to believe my god is cruel thats on you but I know my god gave his son for me that I might go to heaven so the same cruel god you see I see as kind and loving.
