Because I think for myself and live my life treating others the way I'd want to be treated ^_^. Plus I like puppies and kittens.

I am a free thinker and humanist until we consider ourselves human and not americans or christians or Iraqi or Muslims we will never resolve our problems on earth we are all one human kind . Good question thanks
The only solution for survival is truth without contradiction and rational debates and education for parents and world society
I would also mix in a little regulation of corporation control and greed. Ethics and morality should be a required course since grade school

Im happy for your happiness but uniting/grouping us in opposition to believers makes it seem we have no views of our own...that we only exist in opposition of religion. Athiests are different from agnostics, free thinkers and humanists....we are different from each other.
Anyway, jsut wanted to make that distinction.

I'm not sure what you are seeking by asking this question. How are you defining "rock"?
My experience in this venue finds "believers", including representatives from all theist philosophies, demonstrate the highest level of superiority than any other responders.
It is not my contention that I feel awesome. I just participate in this life experience in a way that will be beneficial to everyone. Simple as that.

Because I believe in myself and others. I don't need a religious crutch to make me feel good about myself or to explain why I am here and how I should live. I will live my life how I see fit and will treat others with respect. I don't need a bible or some preacher to explain to me how to be a good person.

Non believers rock so freakin hard because they know if they sleep with that chick they hooked up with at the bar last night they're not going to be punished for it.... Unless he's not wearing a condom and she's HIV positive.

im awesome because my mind is free from outside influences including religion which in my opinion is a form of repression to make us act in a certain way, though i believe in natural laws like murder is wrong religion is kind of a terror tactic. dont do as we say and yr will burn in the fires of hell for all eternity, you know that rubbish

Because we can at least pretend to be in control of our lives. We know we decide what happens next, not some diety. In short we live how we want to live (within the boundaries of western society).

This is not hate ,this is love.
The reason they rock so hard,party so hard,drink so hard, crash their Mercedes so hard ,is that they are dead.They are dead and they need to try to convince themselves that they are alive.They will paint the town red,wake up in their own vomit with a pounding head and say,"Well,hell; next time I'd better bring a bigger brush!"
Body and soul won't do it.You need body,soul and spirit.Your spirit has been dead since Adam sinned.We need it "born again " by God then you truly are alive.
I've seen many a sinner come alive and I've watched a lot of them die too young with out their spirits,and it is a shame.
