Most race car driver use the restroom immediately before their race. Then during the race, most of the fluids the body produces are sweated out. Depeneding on the race and type of racing, a driver can lose quite a bit of weight through sweating (with a full suit on the cockpit temps easily reach over 115 degrees). Longer and less active forms of racing like NASCAR sometimes pose a problme with urination, but even these are only 3 or 4 hours. Some endurance racing driver carry a special device in their suit that allows them to urinate into a special bladder without leaving the car.
