Ive already taken in one who is severely handicapped and if I were younger I would take in another. The thing is the woman needs to be responsible and not get pregnant if she doesn't want the baby. There are many wanting to adopt a newborn. Why should the pro lifers have the babies all dumped on them, when will the women take responcibility for their own actions. Rape or incest make up only a very small percent of the abortions.

Honestly if abortion was made illegal and I had a bunch of unwanted children on my doorstep I would take them all in and do my best to raise them all. My religion teaches to take care of the orphans and that whoever takes care of orphans will be in Jinnah with our Prophet(PBUH*). Plus I'd take the kids in just because I'm a softie and couldn't stand to let a lot of unwanted babies die of cold or starvation.

Ron if abortion was made illegal then I hope IVF would as well because in the process babies are chucked down the drain because they are not perfect. So here's what to do with the babies that would have been aborted, they could go to the people that want children so they then don't have to go through the process of tipping fertilised eggs down the drain. Don't you think its awful that babies die when there are people who are desperate for children? THIS SELFISH WORLD THAT WANTS BABIES ON DEMAND and yet kills thousands. You can't make it right with the word choice. Abortion kills babies and hurts women and that's the truth.

Look at it this way, if you don't want to have a child don't take the risk of having sex. Sex leads to babies everyone knows that. So rather than dump all unwanted children on my doorstep why don't you keep it in your pants unless you are ready to own up to the consequences. Not that hard now is it?

They are all lying,they would let them die in the streets.The USA has orphanages in nearly every state and THEY ARE FULL UP AND BEGGING FOR FUNDS,because all those good people only want infants.I will always stand by this IF YOU CAN'T LOVE A CHILD YOU CANNOT RAISE AN INFANT EITHER.I really have no symphony for childless couples,God had another plan and they rejected it.Modern technology is great if that works for you fine,no problem with that,but don't sit around and whine when there are desperate CHILDREN out there.I do NOT believe in abortion as BIRTH CONTROL but again its choice not law that will bring us the answer to this growing problem.Sorry I ranted.

personally i don`t agree with abortion for myself.But i believe legal abortion should be availible . Do these people believe that making abortion illegel would stop it .all it would achieve is for women to resort to risking their lives with back street abortionists as they did in the past or attempting to do it themselves and isn`t there enough neglected unwanted children already

I would rather have all the unwanted babies and children dumped on my door step because I know that they would be loved, and feed, and honored the way children should be. It is certainly better than killing a baby or child because the parents are having 'issues'.

ok...so instead of tons of babies being killed every day, they could be adopted by families who DO want them and would love them and take care of them.

if you were a yet-to-be-born baby, and were presented with all the facts and all the arguments both ways...
would you rather live and grow up in a loving adoptive family, or would you rather die for the sake of someone's convenience?

In Japan, some hospitals actually have a totally anonymous drop-off site for unwanted babies.

This would surely lead to even more social problems than there is already.
