No cures I am afraid. Clean creams like Dovonex may help, or you may need to revert to older messier treatments like tar or dithranol.

The only thing that works is the immuno-suppresant tablets but they have major dogdey side effects. Thats why I wont go on them. This kind of psoriasis (that never goes away) is not a stress thing or a food thing it is simply down to an overactive immune system a genetic disorder where your immune system actually attacks your own skin. Hence the immuno-suppresant tablets. New stuff going on at the minute with younger people who are presenting with this type of psorasis is tonsillactomy--check the web.

I have a friend who suffers from a mild form of psoriasis. We live in Cyprus so the mild climate helps but he also swears by a cream his acupuncturist recommended (some people by the way use acupuncture as form of treatment - seems to help if you're highly stressed which can exasperate your skin condition). Cream is called Plazan and they do a type of regenerating gel cream. May not work as well for you but worth a try?

theres not really any miracle cure out there...your body can't absorb and digest essential fatty acids properly....try taking flax seeds or cod liver oil. licorice and cranberries can help with it. Try taking a bath with Dead sea salt in it. Talk to a nutritionist as well, they can determine if you have low stomach acid, or toxins in your liver, which both aggravate psoriasis.

Sunlight and seawater help. Eat more fish too and get less stressed, in otherwords, go to the Algarve!
