What particular sort of hell do you think I'll end up in?

Question

Anyone who has seen my postings knows that Jack is one big-time atheist. I'm curious, however, if the religious believers have any point of view on what special type of hell might be reserved for me. After all, a man so charming and witty--not to mention devilishly handsome--as I am certainly can't be expected to settle for some run-of-the-mill Hades, now can I?

So what do you think? Where will this blasphemous boy from Australia end up? ;)

P.S.- My eye is much better today and I appreciate the solicitous expressions from everyone, especially from Cat, the nicest Christian I've spoken to on here thus far. Thank you.

Why would an atheist go to hell? (Other than the best wishes of taxi drivers). Hell is an anthropomorphic manifestation. If you believe in it, it's there. If you don't, it ain't.
I've heard that there is a religion that subjects the real vocal non-believers (i.e. people who claim the god doesn't exist) to 12 months in a vat of boiling s***. As in "I'm in deep s*** now" or "Up s*** creak without a paddle". Supposedly, after 12 months of this treatment, all sins are absolved and the subject enters heaven.
If you're a disembodied soul, what's so disturbing about the heat and stench?
But since you're an atheist, you don't need to worry about it. You'll just die, and that'll be the end.
No hell for non believers - they don't believe it exists.

Whatz up, Jack? I'm Kenny, a member of the HOUSE OF YAHWEH. Were not christians, but we do agree with the teachings of the Holy Scriptures. The problem with society as a whole today is the stupidity that comes forth from the pulpits of most christian churches. The insanity is evident in the extreme. This is a christian country, we can't decide of what life is? abortion, the murder of unborn children is declared legal? men want 2 marry men & women with women? Were always at war with someone? All this blood shed in the name of jesus christ? jesus christ, when r we gonna have enough? Anyway, the modern understanding of "hell" flows down from the teachings of the roman catholic popes as they preyed on the weaker minds of superstious people. jesus says that if you die in battle you'll awake with him in heaven. alluh says that if you die in battle that you'll awake to life in heaven beginning with a harem of 70 virgins. If you don't agree, then you will surely die & go straight to hell, a place of never ending torment for the none believer. A place of fire & brimstone, pain screaming & knashing of teeth, a fit reward to those who refuse to beleive as the christian. But, what does the bilble actually teach? The word "hell" simply means "the grave". People who are dead are placed in ther ground & they are simply dead. Thier not floating around seeking a resting place. There's no conscience awareness, no love, no joy, thier dead. YAHWEH is not an evil man desirous to vent HIS anger on all who would dare to note believe in jesus. The TRUE NAME OF THE MESSIAH IS YAHSHUA; not jesus! this is a false roman god, & not the TRUE MESSIAH!!! YAHWEH will not punish anyone who has never had his mind open to the TRUTH!!! However, if your one of the HOUSE OF YAHWEH, & you've openly regected YAHWEH, then on the day of sentencing, those who've rejected YAHWEH will be given over to the burning. This "burning", however, is to last only for a moment. Not for the eternity that Dante's Hell portrays. In Dante's Hell, hell is envisioned as to having at least 9 layers, each one being a little more excruciating than the other depending upon how bad of a sin you commited in getting yourself there. Dante's Hell does not exist!!!! only the love & mercy of OUR HEAVENLY FATHER who desires OBEDIENCE rather than sacrific!!!

The Eastern Orthodox Christian Church is definitive - there is no Hell. Everybody goes to heaven without meanderings or delay. Those who embraced God forever bathe in the infinite radiance of His Love. Those who denied God forever burn in it.

The big question, then, is whether heaven supplies Lagavulin single malt scotch. It would be Hell without it.

Actually, Jack, I think we have all come to hell. As it is, I do not believe that there is a place where our spirits will perpetually burn. Spirits cannot burn. Hell is an experience that a person perceives to be true, as is heaven. You will not reach heaven by being good, or hell by being bad. You live in what you create your reality to be. We come here to experience. We live our lives to learn, to reach beyond ourselves. Our perceptions form us and we have the ability to choose, to create our own reality.

Reminds me of a great joke. President Bush dies and of course goes to Hell. Satan greets him and informs him that he has his choice for eternity. He takes him to a room where Nixon is continually jumping into a pool and swimming under a gate. Bush says no. He then takes him to a room where his Dad Bush Sr is eating a huge plate of broccoli that never gets smaller. Bush says no. Last, Satan takes him to a room where Monica Lewinski is going down on Bill Clinton. Bush excitedly accepts this particular form of eternity. Satan says "Okay, Monica, you can go."

I am sorry to disappoint you but you are not going to any hell; the idea of hell that orthodox religions propagate is aimed at making their members toe the official line. Despite your so-called bad ways, you may in fact go to a higher heaven than your righteous counterparts. The worst that will happen to you is that you have another chance to learn your lessons by reincarnating.

Heaven is a much better place to spend such a long time ,like eternity, in.
if you are really handsome just note that God gifted yo your looks!

Everything will show up as a negative black-and-white image. Other than that, your hell will look like a desert with television static as the sky.
