I dreamt that my husband and i went into the second story bathroom to help my daughter start her bath, and there was water all over the floor like 3 inches high. We looked up and it was coming from a pipe in the ceiling. then i realized i could see through the ceiling in spots because the roof and ceiling were gone.
I went outside to check the roof and my neighbor was freakin out looking at my house, I turned and looked and the roof was almost totally gone like a tornado had hit and ripped it off, the bathroom was the only spot with any roof left really. But no tornado happened, nothing ever hit the roof, just one minute it was there and then it was gone!
For reactions in the dream
My husband was very annoyed and said "man we have to sleep in the car from now on!" i suggested fixing the roof or making a temporary one, he said it was no use, the roof was gone and i should just come sleep in the car. So i started trying to fix it myself, and then i woke up.

What you think

From reading this dream, there may be some issues going on with you and your husband where you are not in agreement with one another or not on one accord in areas of your marriage. Okay, the roof represents a "covering", which protects. By water leaking into your bathroom it shows that there are leaks in your covering which need to be fixed. Your dream is very symbolic. You and your husband are the real covering for your family. If there is a leak in your marriage, then there will be one in your physical house. Your roof being gone on the outside represents issues in your family which are totally exposed and unprotected and obvious to your neighbors. Lastly, there part about your husband wanting to sleep in the car and you wanting to fix the roof shows that you are not on one accord and there is disagreement between you both. This is a dream from the Lord. The Lord said if a house is divided, it will fall. The Lord is showing you that you and your husband have to work together and be on one accord in all your decisions or else your household will fall apart. But your response in the dream shows you have wisdom, but the response to sleep in the car shows laziness.

You were not harmed. The bathroom was the only place intact. You began to fix the roof tho' your husband gave up and wanted to sleep.
Looks like you have a choice to make. One is to clean up your act and get a move on or give it up.
You may be at a crossroads in your life One way is hard the other is easy. Which one is right? You know. That is why you had the dream.

I think that roofs provide a sense of security. You feel like one moment, you've got it together and are very self-assured, but the next, there's something leaking into this security. You look for the source of this leak and everything disappears. People around you are also worried, but you still don't see how your security problem even started. All in all, you had security, lost it, and can't figure out why.

bathroom = privacy
roof being riped off = invasion
Tornado = sudden changes, problems
Sleeping in the car = temporary solution

Looks like there may be some privacy in your life you and your husband have been invaded. That may be some sort of sudden changes in life. You subconsciously feel that there is some solution to it, however, you leave that decision to your husband as always in reality. Perhaps, in your daily life, some problems have happened and caused to feel unease and therefore you projected all these in house problems in dream

I want to ask how old is your daughter? The idea of holes in the roof over a bathroom imply a sponge like picture to me.
Maybe you are wondering if your daughter is old enough to bathe herself, which could lead to freedom issues (the car)
