Nexus Moon is referring to the mythical Flood, where God for no real reason decided to wipe out all humanity. The point of the question is, naturally, what kind of entity has the right to tell anyone how to raise their children when said entity arbitrarily decided to wipe out all if its own and restart. To descibe this as a case of poor parenting is putting it mildly!

UGH!

Isn't it funny that when many Christians are confronted with an obvious question (God was the father of ALL, like you're always TELLING us, dears) they cannot answer they resort to degradation, cursing, threats, or - as in this case - utter ignorance? Ms. Moon is not saying that God drowned Jesus, she is saying he drowned His "own", which includes all children and adults alike, oh, and animals, even the dinosaurs! *Snicker* Y'know, like when I say I don't believe in God you tell me I am still has child even though I will eternally burn in hellfire?

Exactly, Nexusmoon! Cheers!

P.S. I have a serious crush on Sister Enviolatta. What should I do?

--First of all I am sorry for your loss!
--IF I UNDERSTAND correctly , you are saying that God drowned your child because he needed another soul in heaven?

--IF THAT IS WHAT perversion, you think of as God , you are greatly mistaken! God is not a Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde as religions and their leaders portray Him--, AS needing "a rose-petal" in heaven--thus arranging for people, children to die!

--THIS IS THE truth about what God is like and what he does and does not do:

(James 1:13) “13 When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. . .”

--JESUS SAID of his father, when called "good teacher" in reply he said "nobody is good but God."--Meaning the epitome of goodness!

God chastizes all of his children so that they will not be claimed by Satan and spend eternity suffering in the Lake of Fire. Those whom He drowned might be redeemed if they accept Jesus as their savior in the rapture. Ever heard about "tough love"?

Maybe the God of life and Death. To whom life isn't a big deal, because he can give it or take it away.
What's important to us, might not be as important to God.

Dear nexus,

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:21-23)

JESUS did not drown. HE was crucified. The FATHER sent JESUS to die in our place for our sins. This act of love was for our benefit.

GOD bless

What kind of wacky god have you been following? I know Pagans used to bash their children's heads in with bricks sacrificing them to Baal.
