I want to duplicate a recipe my mother used to make that was, I know, very quick and easy. I know that most of it was macaroni, tuna, mayo and a couple of small additions.

In addition to what you mentioned, I use some mustard, salt and pepper (to taste), minced onion and some sweet relish. Sometimes I get creative and add some curry and Greek seasoning.

I make one that is not only yummy, but easy too! Take cooked & drained macaroni & place in mixing bowl. Add 1 can tuna - drained & toss together. In small cup, take 1/2 mayo & stir in a little mustard & 1 packet dry ranch mix. Pour dressing over pasta & toss to coat. You can add frozen peas & carrots that have been thawed & drained, chopped onion, broccoli, or anything else you have on hand......Enjoy!

I make a big batch in my Dutch oven. I boil tri color rotini (but you can use mac or shells), & drain. Stir in 1-2 cans drained tuna, mayo (to taste, I don't measure), peas, chopped onions, sliced mushrooms, sliced black olives, salt & pepper, to tatste - stir & refrigerate a few hours to mix flavors.

You can add in whatever you like & have on hand - sun-dried tomatoes, diced celery, shredded carrots, chopped marinated artichoke hearts, sliced roasted sweet red peppers, etc.

Carrots, peas, celery, onions. Any or all of those would be good, especially the celery and onions.
