Personality, they may look alike but I doubt they think and act alike.

There could be a lot of variables in place so I will speak from a personal standpoint. If 2 guys looked the same but were different, the things that would draw me to the other guy would be:

a good personality
a very good sense of humor
very intellectual
nice dresser
wears nice shoes, lol
treats me with respect and others
carries himself well
good family values
doesn't do drugs
religious
aspires to be the best he can be
nice breath and teeth (overall good hygiene)
doesn't want to hang with his boys all the time like an immature 3 y/o

Lastly, the chemistry just needs to be there and we need to click. So maybe the person not getting the girls should brush up on his approach to women and make sure that he is putting a lot into himself so that he has a lot to give.

If you are asking what I think you are, which is when two guys basically look similar, why does one score the girlfriend and the other one doesn't get looked at...way way way too much emphasis is placed on looks alone. Someone can be absolutely drop dead gorgeous, but have the personality of a speck of dust. That alone makes them unattractive to a large percentage of the population who require some sort of intelligence and brain matter in their partners. It doesn't matter how tall you are or if you have a zit or two, or even if you don't have a six pack that you're flashing at every given opportunity, it's all in the packaging of personality and how you present yourself. Just because one girl finds you not so attractive, doesn't mean that the entire female population is now going to avoid you because of her.

This is hard to believe women and men see things differently. Women( not girls) really do look in the person and not only what they see whats on out. Physical attraction has a role to play in this too. Men and women are different when it comes to these things.
