NO. I started giving green tea (instead of his morning coffee) to my husband to aid in lowering his triglycerides, for over 3 months. It has not done a thing for his weight.
Green tea is not a miracle diet aid, it's mildly thermogenic, which will only help you lose a bit more weight if you exercise.
What it does do is help preventing heart disease, it promotes digestion and has antioxidants that may help repair damaged cells. Ah, and it prevents cavities.

Where did you hear that nonsense? Coffee has little or no calories so stoppong coffee will not effect your weight. Research shows that coffee in moderation is actually good for you as is green tea. Non decaffinated coffee may even decrease your risk for alzheimers.

i cant say its not true although i want to but there is no scintifical evidence to that. some reaserches say that coffee helps you lose weight by making workouts more effective and some say that green tea helps metabolism.
solution- drink coffee in the first half of the day and green tea in the second.

green tea will help you to loose weight, but the dropping the coffee thing and drinking tea ....if you dont change your eating habits I doubt it will have any effect...green tea helps to clean out the cells making them more effiecient to carry the fat out of the body...it does help....
