Workouts with dumbells?
I've recently bought a set of small weights. The lightest 1.1 kg and the heaviest 4.4 kg . I need to know the best way to use them to tone/ strenthen my stomach and shoulders.( And give me extra strenth for arm wrestling lol). Diagrams or words will both be very useful. thanx

Check out this website http://www.myfit.ca/exercisedatabase/search.asp?muscle=Arm&keyword=Dumbbell
It has a TON of exercises you can do and they all have pictures to guide your form (if you need them)
If that doesn't do it for ya, just do a search "dumbell arm workouts" and you'll find something you like.
I could tell you a few, but there are SOOOO many. Searching the site is the best way for me to get all of them to you.

Have fun!!

Arm wrestling is bicep curls.

Stomach hold the weights across your chest while doing your crunches.

Shoulders do military presses, lat pull downs, butterflies (for pecs). Tricep curls.

The important thing is to not go too fast. Biceps or Triceps-2 seconds up, 4 seconds down. You want to control the whole movement--not use momentum.

Use whatever the max weight you can for 10-15 reps. Each exercise probably won't use the same max weight.

Try some DVDs--they will give you lots of new ideas and show how to do it to make sure you don't hurt yourself and vary your routine enough.
