Which attack? On day one, I bet they prayed for reinforcements that would never arrive. On day 13, I imagine they prayed that their deaths would not be in vain. They weren't either.

If you know Texas history, those 13 days gave Houston time to amass an army that would defeat Santa Anna at San Jacinto.
