Do you want God? That's the question. God loves you, but things in life, emotions, and people can make it seem like he doesn't.
What you said sounds like a person who wants God, but feels distant from him. If you want God, that's really all you need - that's the good news.
You may be hurting from a wounded spirit. The demons around are probably trying to taunt and emotionally oppress you.
You can rebuke that. You can say "NO, I WILL have a relationship with God. He said that he loves me, and I believe that. Men have harmed me, and the world is cruel, but the god of this world's systems is NOT MY GOD." You can declare with authority that you will REFUSE to give in to the world and the devil, that God said he will accept you, and forgive you for sins if you confess. You can declare with authority that you WILL forgive people, even those who don't deserve it, because God has forgiven you. And things like that.
ie, you can obey God. You can trust him. It doesn't matter if you feel like it. It matters what you DECIDE. So what's your decision???? The Word says God has "set before you life and death. CHOOSE LIFE." What is your decision?
Don't let that gloomy cloud consume you. With the power of God, through the name of Christ, you have the power to get out of this. You have to stand up for that!

We all have trying times... scripture is full of times where the faithful are tested through fire... The key is to remember God's promises to know what he says is true despite how we may feel. In the times that you can not feel his presence he is still with you... it is just an opportunity to learn how to worship and seek him with out the "emotional reward" in these times we are goin purely for his Glory and not for our benefit. It is something we've all been through my friend. Do not judge God on the actions of men. Look at Job... his friends were rotten too him in his worst hour when everything around him fell apart.. all Job had was his faith knowing God was with him and he perservered... The Lord has promised to be with us always and hear us always.. He does hear you friend... his answer may jsut be Wait on Me... Though you may not understand the reason... there IS a reason and you will come through this stronger. God has promised you that!

What you need my friend, is a revelation of God's love for you.
Please don't give up on Him - for He is the answer to your every need. Just take one small step of faith, back to Him. He is waiting with open arms. Repent, turn away from all that hinders, and run the race set before you! He will reward those who diligently seek after Him.
Go for it!
I was once in your place, and I took that small step, and the Lord has given me more, and more, and more and more of the life which He set out for me to have. Life in abundance.
Step into the plan which God has for your life. Just step into it!

Well your right up there with Jesus suffering,he was hated as well,he forgave. No matter what it is we go through we need to forgive others so we don't become full of bitterness.Read the psalms,I think God allows things to come into our lives to burn away the stuff that is in us that we never knew was there, that is not of him.He has not forsaken you, maybe you have forsaken him, just press into him with prayer.Believe me I know how hard life can be,you may need to forgive God as well. You most likely will be stronger in your faith after all this is done.I will pray for you.

i know what you mean. when **** hits the fan, everything seems to crumble...especially one's vision of God. for me personally, i found that i had to let go of my preconceptions, my arbitrary depictions of God, and give him (assuming He exists), a chance at showing me who he really is...not just who other people have told me he is. my experience (which is not dogma!) was that in letting go of my idea of God, I came to experience a really wonderful, loving God who wasn't the anal, black/white, follow the law or go to hell type of God. I firmly believe in having rules (or society and life would be a disaster!), but before **** hit the fan, i assumed that the rules came first and were THE determinants of good and bad people (if you followed the Godly rules you were good, etc). but now i really believe that love comes first and then guidelines / rules (i.e. spiritual beliefs / practices) are expressions of love. oh my, this is a long *** explanation. Keep fighting to find the truth, i guess that's the best we can all do.

It seems fairly obvious that you're blaming God for your bad luck. If so, I suggest that you stop doing it. God never said that life would be good for you. Many people have died nasty deaths and God didn't save them. God never promised to intervene the actions of other men. It was their actions not His. The reality of the matter is that,
“Life is a valley of woe, misery, and despair.”

A crisis of faith precedes true positive change, if you use it that way. No one can tell you which way to go. Good luck to you.
