French historian Francois Gautier puts its like this "Let it be said right away: the massacres perpetrated by Muslims in India are unparalleled in history, bigger than the holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis; or the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks; more extensive even than the slaughter of the South American native populations by the invading Spanish and Portuguese."
Nobody knows how many deaths have there has been over 700 year span of islamic rule over india but estimates are inbetween 70-80 million and tens of millions more converted to muslims.
