God's providence (in both what He does and in what He permits), acts upon all the details of creation.
However, most of that is a mystery to the human mind.
Why that is happening to you, I cannot tell.
But to conclude that that is happening because you are an atheist is not valid reasoning, because birds poop on the cars of believers as well.
