My main problem with Pascal's wager is that it doesn't indicate that I should believe in the Christian God, just any higher power that might be mad at me for not believing. Think of it like this:

If you don't believe in Ra the Egyptian sun god, he will be mad at you, unless he doesn't exist. So, by worshiping Ra, you won't lose anything but wasted time, but if you don't worship Ra, he might punish you forever after you die. Therefore it is best to worship Ra.

Yes, I agree with this statement. Furthermore, if god is really a loving being, then a nonbeliever has nothing to worry about.

Pascal's wager is just using logic, it is good to use logic (Common sense) in every situation in life.

I have to agree with you on that one. I do believe in the Gods, I believe the Christian God exists, but I can't and won't serve him.

I don't think that I could follow that tyrant in the Old Testament even if it were true.
