What exercises should I do to get lean?

Running is one of the best cardio workouts and cardio is the only fat burning exercise. Swimming is also good cardio workout and it tones muscles at the sime time because of the resistance water gives you. Jogging and cycling (stationary bike) are good as well.
To lose weight you have to do them 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min) and combine it with light weight training to tone muscle and not lose it (more muscle=faster metabolism)

Yes it dose. Run as fast as you want for as long as you want. The longer and faster you run the more calories/fat you will burn. Running is a great type of Exercise.

yes it does, but don't run too fast because then you will just be burning sugar. The best way to burn fat is by doing long slow runs, or long brisk walks or jogs. Also, make sure you are eating healthy and drinking lots of water.
