i read the nutrtion facts of on and it said one egg has 71% of cholesteral you need in one day based on a 2000 calorie diet

It is complete protein, the yolk has all the cholesterol while the egg white has none and is mostly just water and proteins. Just throw away the yolk and eat egg white.

LV is correct. In addition, whole eggs are a great source of many vitamins and minerals. You won't get those from only egg whites.

Cholesterol levels can be controlled somewhat by diet as well - high fiber carbs and good cholesterol foods can counteract bad cholesterol. Exercise helps too. Unfortunately, however, genetics plays big role in how much cholesterol our bodies have.

Thats wright - thats why its not recommended to have more than 5 eggs a week but it actually means not more than 5 egg yolks. egg whites - have as many as you want to.

they have alot of vitamins and are healthy for your heart - some cholesterol is needed in your system and eggs are a great sourse of HEALTHY amounts of Cholesterol...Eggs are good for you and should be eaten in moderation.

cholesterol is very misunderstood. it's the carrier of cholesterol that is either good or bad not the cholesterol itself. the good carrier of cholesterol are high density lipoproteins and the bad are low density lipoproteins. it is the ratio of HDL:LDL that is more important in terms of health than the total cholesterol value.
