What happens if you were adopted? Or if your father wasn't really your father? Would your real one turn up? What if your father didn't know he wasn't your real father?

Yes, I believe in the afterlife.

Yes, you will meet all of your family that have not chosen to be separated from God and the blessed (those in heaven) forever.

Everyone will be happy to be together with God. We will realize that all of our earthly human concerns really do not matter.

What matters is faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love.

With love in Christ.

Well, in Heaven, you will have the opportunity to know everyone. We really won't be bothered by relations to each other so much, especially when given an infinite amount of time to know each other. If you were adopted, perhaps you will get to know your real parents, but any thought of resentment against them will not be there. Only those who repent of sins can enter Heaven, therefore, we will be incapable of sin. The matter of knowing these things or not will likely not be on anyone's mind in Heaven. It was an Earthly matter, and Heaven will have a much different focus; mainly worshipping God.

We will have time to get to know everyone as brothers and sisters in Christ, and not as a spouse, or any blood-related person. Since we have infinity, it will be great to get to know everyone!

Since Jesus promises that there will be no tears, no sickness, no pain, no lack in Heaven, I believe that if your biological father becomes a Christian you will meet him and you will know him when you get to Heaven.

Since there is no pain/suffering in Heaven, I believe that we will not remember those who do not enter Heaven or, as Christians in Heaven, who will know and understand God's mind, we will know who our biological parent(s) are/were & simply accept their choice to deny Jesus as their free will choice.
