That Mardi Gras "crap" came from Europe, with the people who settled New Orleans, and is at heart a CATHOLIC tradition. Do your homework! If your precious God sent Katrina because of that, then why did He MISS the French Quarter and instead flood the rest of the city, and why did he use the same storm to wipe out the Gulf Coast? Does your God have really bad aim? Thousands of people are still homeless because your God had bad aim? What about all of those God-fearing, go-to-church-every-Sunday people who died in their attics? Was your God okay with that? Were you here to hear their screams all night long? Have you even been here to see what you think your God did? The areas of New Orleans where those erotic things are famous for happening did NOT flood! Do your homework! Do you know how to read anything but that dusty old book? Do you have any idea how many of your God's churches were destroyed by that flood? Why would your God destroy His own houses of worship, yet leave the French Quarter practically untouched? Ask yourself instead why your tax dollars were wasted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers to build ADMITTEDLY FAULTY LEVEES! Ask your congressman where the federal money to repair New Orleans infrastructure and homes has gone; it certainly has not made it here yet. People who think as small and narrow as you make me sick. I hope your fictional rapture takes you and only you.

And if you were to read the word, you would know that the idea of the "rapture" is man-made and not scripturally supported.
And by the way, the reason our weather is changing (ie hurricanes becoming more stronger and more frequent) is the direct result of our actions and our impact on the environment, which God allows to happen because he allows us to make our own decisions. He didn't all of a sudden wipe out New Orleans because of Mardi Gras, when its a tradition that's been going on for a very long time.

This is why those godless countries like Sweden, Denmark, Holland etc. get so many hurricanes earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
I suspect that there could be an infinite number of messages before the rapture. Even if they came at a finite rate.

I don't normally use such terms because I think there is too much meanness on these boards, but you are an actual, certified, idiot.
One of the basic questions of any religion is "why do bad things happen to good people." Now you and the Jerry Falwells of the world want to try to separate the natural disasters that kill "innocent" people from the ones that kill "bad" people.
Hurry up and get to heaven and leave us alone.

It's nature at work. The earth is a living entity and man (in this present state) is out of tune with nature and now she is fighting back.
If it was God at work - Jehovah, Allah, Jesus, Buddha, Hare Krishna, whoever u call on- i think he would protect his houses of worship at least as a sign for his followers. But nature don't give damn about churches or synagogues, mosques etc.
Nature only respects those in tune with nature.

The Bible Belt sees more hurricanes and tornadoes than San Fran or Amsterdam ever do.
Actually, now that I think of it, maybe it is divine retribution.

Is mature, obscure behavior of sexual nature just to reassure a Christian of the rapture, or is it just a premature caricature?
Yeah, I know that's silly. I just wanted to see all those words in one sentence. Sorry.

I do actually. A hurricane is what happens when god masturbates and spews forth ejaculate. It appears to us in the form of a mighty storm.

We finally have the proof that people have been searching for since the beginning of man. God has something to say; "That is not a question."
