You can try, but with the Air Force downsizing right now.
I wouldn't put my money on anyone with a GED, that doesn't have some college credits being able to enlist in the Air Force.
The Air Force is turning people away right now.

If you have documentation of a completed GED, yes you can join the Air Force. If you are interested in futhering your education the Air Force has several programs available to their Active Duty and Reserve Airman for completing college degrees.

You sure can. Either a GED or a High School diploma will get you in. You will also have to take the ASVAB test, and try your hardest to score as high as you can. The higher your score the better jobs you can get into. Unlike an answer previously posted to your question you do not need to have college credit, and there isn't any waivers involved. All you need is that GED or HS diploma.

Yes! The GED is the equivalency to a high school diploma and the military accepts both to recruit people. Now if u are still young and have the opportunity to get a diploma then get it. I have my GED and im a college student now. People will try to make you think that a GED is below a high school diploma but it really is not.

You can but in order to join with a GED you must have two years of college credit and be approved for a waiver. the point is moot anyway. the AF is downsizing and they aren't taking anyone that requires a waiver right now.

Certain times during the year they will accept GED's but when I do not know. I do know that the Army accepts them all year round. With the other branches such as the Navy, Marine Corps, and the Coast Guard, their times vary as to when they may accept GED's.
