OK, this is probably not what you are asking for, but it is good to know. There is an inscription on the Byzantine church of Haghia Sophia in Constantinople (modern Istanbul), in Greek, reading forwards and backwards ( the entire inscription):
ΝΙΨΟΝ ΑΝΟΜΗΜΑΤΑ ΜΗ ΜΟΝΑΝ ΟΨΙΝ
(it means wash sins from both sides).It is very famous.
