Mmkay. Here's my situation:
My best friend, who will remain anonymous, is a girl. I've known her for about nine months now, and I've totally fallen for her. I asked her if she would date me, and that was about five months ago. she didn't really know me all that well then, and since I asked her, she has really opened up, and visa versa- so, we know each other a lot better now. I'm wondering if I should ask her out again- lately she's been doing things that she hasn't normally done- I.E. wanting to get away from the rest of our friends, and just be with me, and sitting really close to me during school assemblies/concerts, or walking right by my side down the school corridors (as in, rubbing up against me).
She doesn't really have a problem with proximity, so it could just be her being friendly. I don't know. I guess I'm looking for a second opinion, and whether or not I should ask again,

Thanks,
-The sask,

I should add that the first time I asked, five months ago, she turned me down.

Should also add this- We're both sixteen.

Well maybe she turned you down because:
a) she didn't know you well enough at the time or
b) you are both too young to go out on a date.

If she didn't drop you as a friend when you asked her out the last time its because she thinks your cool, but she just wasn't ready, sounds like she is becoming more comfortable with you and is trusting you more as a friend, that's what friends do they confide in one another.

I understand you may have been a bit crushed when she refused to date you but maybe you can tell her that you are not meaning exclusive dating meaning you two are an item.

Good luck GB
