Why, when you have the invitation to a banquet (The Catholic Mass) do some still turn out for only crumbs?

The Catholic Mass causes Jesus to be crucified everytime it is performed. If Jesus has to die and his body eaten every single time the priests holds the host up and the blood of Jesus poured out every time the priest lifts up the cup, then what is happening is a lie.
