Those times where you are just looking at your hair in a public place and you suddenly see a spot with split ends. There are no scizzors in sight so you just rip it off. Yes, pull it off and break the hair. Is this safe? I mean like, would it redamage the new end? Should I stop this? Or is it perfectly fine?

Thank you ahead of time!

You should stop because it is disgusting to other people. Who wants to see some hair just sitting on the floor... If you need to pull it off, do it at home!

I don't think it would damage your hair more than it already is though..

i do the same thing!!! It's so bad. It doesn't help your hair at all.. haha maybe we should carry some scissors in our purse. But when you pull it off, it doesn't make a NEW end... it's just the broken end exposed. Like, you see that little white dot in the middle of the hair strand, and then you break it, that leaves the white dot (the broken hair) exposed which makes it more likely to split upwards from there. This damages your hair and makes it less likely to look like it's growing and healthy.

dont pull out your hair! it might not grow back... keep a pair of nail clippers in your purse or something or just wait till you have scissors... a couple split ends really arent that big a deal.

Maybe you should just leave your hair alone. You never know, it could damage your hair really bad.
