well I live with grandma and grandpa and I get so emberased when I go on dates because they come out side with me and say hi to the parents and everything .they always want to know who i'm dating and what i'm doing . I dont even enjoy having my boyfriend over because they are just sooo . you know . they dont trust me at all and I know that . I just cant take it anymore why are they so over protitive ?i'm 14

They are not being over-protective because at the beginning of a social dating situation all females, regardless of age should have their dates meet someone who is a parent, a friend or someone who will be on their side. You are lucky to have someone who is interested in you beside the raging male wolves you might be dating. After you have dated someone several times, perhaps this greeting by coming outside will not be necessary because your date will have established a good reputation and you will have shown that you are responsible in a dating situation.
