I really would rather recommend shikakai powder. It will be more effective for your hair. Because in your oil it might not be a high percentage of shikakai and it is most likely diluted with fragrance, and other oil bases.
Shikakai powder will help promote your hair growth as it is pure and they don't usually blend it, if you find a good supplier. You can try ebay.com
