i'm on a diet and i eat yogurt! its tasty and its healthy! also you can still eat the same foods just eat less than what you would normally eat. it'll take longer to lose the pounds but its worth eating your favorite foods. also try to cut back on the really junky foods fruits are yummy! :-)

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

What you eat is your own dicision, people are not going to be dictators on what you eat. If you are on a diet stick to healthy foods. You can have some junk food, but in moderation. Some good foods to eat are:
Oatmeal
Carrots
Apples
Any Fruits
Veggies
Salads
Remember healthy foods don't have to be icky tasting! Get creative with what you eat!

Just cut out foods with lots of sugar/saturated and trans fat. Try eating lean cuts of meat, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Be sure to get some healthy fat like natural peanut butter and almonds. And drink plenty of water.

its very simple
dont eat junk food and other crap
stick to fruits and veggies and other whole wheats and such
but i've tried everything, the simple solution is no junk food
and be hoest with yourself, dont try to convince yourself that u are dieting when u still eat chips/soda etc.
once a week, though, enjoy that snack
