Yes.
If it were not for the immigrants, legal or not, where would YOU get your food from at an affordable price.
If it were not for immigrants, legal or not where would big construction companies get their cheap labor, and make bigger profits cause there not paying the taxes per employee as most companies do.
If it were not for immigrants America would still belong to the INDIANS cause everyone of your ancestors were immigrants, legal or not.
100 years ago we didn't put restrictions on who could or not come to this country. They fought our wars, they worked in the industrial heartland of America and believed that this was a better place to be and the immigrants still fight our wars, work in the fields and think that America is the best place for them to be, unfortunately, we have become insensitive and hypocritical of anyone who doesn't look think or act like WASPS. The big corporations then and now need the cheap labor and without them then and NOW we as a country are too fat, dumb and selfish to do the work ourselves. Without them we would be a third world nation.
The TRUTH hurts like that coward Bush and his continued LIES.

Ever ask yourself that the reason America isn't 3rd world could be due to illegal, and legals?!

But if this country continues to avoid the embarrassing state of its citizens (the homeless) for starters. As well as abortion clinics, artificial toy's, that increase sexual tolerance. It will become the its reflection!
Totally different future finger pointing compared to this current argument since I am already at least mentioning it...I can rewind later when it happens and say I warned you all on yahoo answers!

The closer the number of economy supportive citizen and the number of criminal, economy ruining citizens gets to each other, the closer you get to a 3rd world country. The statistics on productive numbers of citizens in countries in Africa, in relation to the non productive(leeches), is available on the net. Immigration is your problem, not war. A war, as long as it is outside your home soil, actually boosts economy and keep the country on the edge of technology and development.

No, but becoming a socialist nation would do wonders toward that.

immigration issues? We've had them since the beginning of the country.
Failing economy? Not happening right now, but when it does, it goes in cycles, just like in other countries.
Wars? Haven't you noticed the past one's we have?

Love the confidence the young have in a nation many times older than they are, don't you folks?

All because they think it will help their political ideology.

Silly.

I haven't a clue as to why you think we have a "failing economy," and we fight wars to make this country safer. Additionally, there are no immigration issues in my opinion, there are only ILLEGAL immigration issues. Failure to solve those ILLEGAL issues is having a far more negative impact upon this country than is healthy. America cannot absorb the poor of South America and other places without great damage being done to it.

CHISOX proves he isnt smart by saying "illegal" immigration is going to make the U.S. a 3rd world country. I think the corrupt government will do the damage, but not enough to make it a 3rd world country. I dont think it would be possible to make the U.S. that bad. Give the U.S. some credit.

yes, because the president has screwed up the economy by falsifying the war in iraq and spending billions over there to take care of a society of people that has been fighting back in jesus christ days we the people of the united states will suffer. there are people here in our own backyards and neighborhoods that need help today.then to allow all the illegals to have rights to all services that are free but the legal citiens are blocked to what is owed to them

Well, guess what? Perhaps we need to take a look at ourselves for this.....We are the largest consumers of natural resources in the entire world....We pay, by far, the cheapest gas prices in the world, and yet we consume the most....How is that fair? The rest of the world has to pay for our indulges....Its about time, we start to feel the sting of our overconsumption....
