The truth is the best way. Tell her you like her as a friend and admire and care for her, but you do not feel the same way towards her as she feels towards you.

Honesty and communication is the best policy. It is just how you say it.

She may be upset, as it would upset anyone, but she will respect you for your honesty.

It is worse that people hang on just not to hurt feelings. It is actually worse to find out later that things could have been different far sooner. I would want it told to me. If it isn't meant to be, you cannot help it. If you are having physical relations with her, you have to stop. I would never recommend that right away as it messes with peoples emotions.

Be friends with girls before you decide to have a relationship with them. That way you both will get to know each other slowly and know if you really do want a relationship rather than finding out later that you may have to hurt the others feelings.

Best wishes to you...

just tell her the truth. I went through the same thing, only it was 1 1/2 years and he just told me he was moving. Funny, I saw him two weeks later and he finally told me that he didn't love me too, but he didn't want to hurt my feelings. So instead, he lied to me. Which just makes it a whole lot worse. I just wanted him to be honest from the start. So try it. She'll thank you for it.

Just tell her what you just said You care about her and don't want to hurt her but your not in love with her and you don't see that changing. tell her she deserves better (not really true) it will make her feel better and you will still look like a nice guy. If she doesn't get it from that just blow her off and date her best friend.

Tell it to her straight with a big lie. No, really. She is taking your attention way too serious and falling in love way too young and too easily. She needs help. Let her know that your interest are purely platonic, sort of.

theres no easy way to do it, buddy. sorry to say. just dont use the words"dumping, or breaking up" AND dont do it over the phone or email. Do it in person. that will at least make it more sincere.

Just tell her the truth about your feelings toward her. Truth hurts at first but she will thank you later for being honest.
