A lot of people think that giraffes don't make any sounds, but this isn't true. Usually they're silent, but at times, they do make some noise!
* Calves (baby giraffes) bleat and make a mewing call.
* Cows (female giraffes) seeking lost calves bellow.
* Courting bulls (male giraffes) sometimes let out a loud cough!
* Also, giraffes have been heard snorting, moaning, snoring, hissing, and making strange flutelike sounds!

Not really, because down here in Yorkshire it's freezing so wearing a Hawian shirt would be pretty dumb, plus I'm skinny and 14 so there must be others like me.
I girraffe sounds like a cross between a zebra and a strangled cow.

I don't believe anyone person's questions are in poor taste on the Yahoo! Answers service, so long as they stay within the community guidelines, and do not cross into trouble be it racially, or any other form of harassment. Any question is a good question as long as it is going to further your knowledge base. So, no, I don't think that your questions are in poor taste at all. Now the fat middle aged bloke part, I imagine, is completely irrelevant.

Did you watch South Park where Stan and Kyle had to make the sound of a dying giraffe? ALl you have to do is make a flatus noise in your palms and spread them in the middle of the flatus to get the "wah" sound.
