I've heard a lot about not eating and eating meat. But what does God REALLY say about eating meat? What does it say in the Bible? Did he make us to eat meat daily, or did he ask us to save it for special occasion??

After the flood God gave animals into the hand of man (v2) and said that "every moving thing" is food for us, just like plants are food (v3). Its OK to be carnivorous!

i can tell you what I THINK about eating meat.

but hey, that's for another type of message board!!

anyway, let's not be so silly to think that an old cult book written by bronze age sheepherders actually came from a god. do you really think a god's other recipes actually included bread made with poop, so people would eat defiled bread? please... (EZ Ch 4) I mean, think about it.

"well, i just finished creating another galaxy today, and wow! that's a nice nebula. WHOA! i need to go tell a human to bake bread with animal crap in it so some people will eat defiled bread."

come on people. THINK!!

Technically, eating meat is not wrong if the whole purpose is for food. It's only wrong for just kill and leave, or poaching.

I'd much rather not be commanded to do anything. I'd like to be asked.

Jesus did away with that (I believe, but I could be wrong) He said that it is not what goes into the body that is unclean. It is what comes out that is unclean. I am not sure of the scripture. What he meant by unclean - of course we know what that is - and also unclean means what comes out of our mouth.

Do you honestly need someone else to tell you what to eat?
Figure it out on your own.
