Sounds very unfortunate for the second incident to happen while the other is still being resolved. The combination of both accidents could lead to your no claims being lost.
The first wasn't your fault but as others have already said it always looks bad on you when you drive into the back of somebody.
Try talking to your insurer about the possibility of keeping your no claims, they may be willing to do so it order to keep you as a customer (if you don't ask you don't get).
If you do lose you no claims don't stay with the same insurer as they are bound to increase your premium. Try looking on this http://www.moneysupermarket.com/motor/ and you could find someone offering a cheaper quote to try and get your business.
Good luck with it all anyway, I hope it doesn't work out too expensive!

Not enough info on the Picasso to assign fault. The Bimmer is a different story. He was following too closely and is 100% at fault for all damages. No 50-50 there, Love!
Your protected NCB was probably safe even if you were at-fault in the Picasso. However if you were, your protection left with that accident. The Bimmer would have wiped it out completely in most cases. If you weren't at fault in the Picasso, you should still have your NCB, but it's no longer protected in all likelihood.
The fact that hubby had 2 accidents in roundabouts in a fortnight doesn't bode well...

Two years ago my wife treated herself to brand new fiesta, 3 weeks later it was stolen. That was her first claim ever. So she thought to replace it she would buy a 4 year old Clio (1.2engine). 4 weeks later it was stolen by car-jackers. So a second claim was made. An even older Fiesta was bought to replace it (1.2 engine). Both claims were paid out with the usual hassle from insurance company. When her renewal was due it came in at £2,650. About 4 times higher than before the claim. She is now a named driver on my policy
Basically I feel you will have the same problem, because insurers don't like losing money and 2 claims inside one year makes you a huge risk, even though you are a victim of circumstance.
Maybe you wont be so unlucky as you have protected no claims but you will definately need to shop around to get a better deal than what your current insurers will offer you.
Good luck but be prepared for a nasty quote.

I believe if you hit someone from behind it will be seen as your fault, whatever the accident. But my brother recently hit someone from behind but that was because someone skidded into him so in that case he wasn't seen as responsible, the fella at the back (in this case your husband too) was the guilty party. Sorry, but be prepared for that.
Edit: My brother has had an accident in each car he's owned (3 were written off) and it was never his fault. He's just a very unlucky driver.

It sounds to me like if he's coming off the roundabout, and merging into other traffic (presuming the other lady was off the roundabout already), that he's at fault. He's definitely at fault for the rearender.
It depends on your insurer. The company where I work forgives your first at fault accident. I'd say that your premiums will likely go up. But, if the first mva is not at fault, and they forgive one mva, you may just be ok.
Phone your broker or insurer.
good luck.

Whatever the situation, if you go in to the rear of someone it is automatically seen as your fault. I went in to the back of someone who had no brake lights!! but there was no-one to witness it!
Possibly expect a higher premium next year, depending on your insurer and how long you have been with them.

in the event that they have been 2 separate incidents than confident, your deductible will persist with two times. working occasion: 3 days in the past, I had a shopper who exchange into caught site visitors whilst a hail hurricane struck damaging their automobile. As you are able to think of, chaos ensued as drivers rushed to locate cover for his or her autos. on an analogous time as pulling right into a gasoline station, their automobile exchange into hit by employing yet another. those are seen 2 separate claims even however they occurred on an analogous time.
