I would love to see him still race. Unfortunately, I started to watch NASCAR after his death. Watching old films, He is a great mentor and everyone respected him. He was like the Godfather of racing. His name "Intimidator" alone lets the rookies know who the track belongs too. If he was still here, Juan wouldn't wreck people out, Tony wouldn't bad mouth nascar, and Jeff would be racing harder to earn his wins than he does.

I miss The Intimidator to this day. He truly was who fans thought of when someone says Nascar. If he were alive today. He'd be in the top 5, possibly top 10 in points. Dale Sr also seems like someone who would not be all for the COT car. I have followed his career since the early 90's and thought his car and image were cool. Since then I have grown to respect him as a driver and for what he's done for the sport.

I miss him very much too. It's weird like he was part of my family or something. It's hard to explain. My wife had a china cabinet given to her but we have no china so it is a Dale Earnhardt shrine.
I would be interested in knowing just how he felt about these lame brain things that have been going on with NASCAR since is death. I bet he doesn't like them.

I continually discover it exciting while human beings evaluate somebody to somebody else. on a similar time as I agree that there isn't yet another Dale Earnhardt Sr, I even have faith that there isn't yet another Richard Petty. Its additionally like countless different sport, working example basketball, the subsequent (supposedly) super ball hog is going to be on Michael Jordans point. Baseball, human beings are continually evaluating some sluggers to the two Babe Ruth or Ted Williams (or whomever). Hockey, Mario Lemiux or Wayne Gretzky. soccer, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, etc etc...you get my factor? I choose i ought to forget that day myself....... there isn't yet another like somebody that got here until now, until cloning is perfected all all of us can is choose and want.

Unfortunately, I started watching NASCAR after he died, so I never was able to see him race. I always hear about the rivalry between Jeff Gordon and Sr. but I don't believe in it. I think that they were probably friends. I wish I could have seen Sr. race. I have a friend whose dad has many collectibles of Sr. so I know how good he was and how many loyal fans he has. Rest In Peace Sr!!!

Anytime someone dies to soon they are missed. What I don't understand is why rules that apply on the road don't to an extent apply to the track. I know a man that hit a patch of ice on the road and than hit the woman who had hit the same patch in front of him. Than another man came along and hit him. Him was sent to prison for the death of the woman with no evidence that she wasn't dead when she hit the tree. There is a big difference between a racing accident and purposely knocking someone into to the wall causeing his death. Shouldn't Marlin have been jailed or at least banned from racing?
