The dial on the truck has a setting for A/C and Max A/C. I turned on the normal A/C and hot air was blowing out, when I put it on Max cold air came out as it should. Any ideas why the normal A/C is blowing out hot air?? It worked fine last summer. Thanks.

Likely the blend door is broken. When you put it on max a/c, there is a valve that shuts of the coolant flow to the heater core, thus even though the air is going through the heater core, on max a/c position the heater core is cold due to no coolant flow. If you have it on normal a/c you likely have no control over the temperature at all, no matter where you set the temp control, it will blow the same. This confirms a blend door issue, be it broken or the actuator bad.

I am thinking it just needs cleaning and a shot of freon . take it to a mechanic and let them do the freon and clean should not be too costly . good luck and happy motoring .
