Dije In Spanish

The Di part is pronounced 'dee', but you have to pronounce it more strongly than it looks, with a bit of an accent.

And the J is pronounced as an H.

So think of the 'He' as the how it's pronounced in the word 'Hem'.

And please, do not say the 'hey' as the person above me has already pointed out. It is not the correct way to pronounce it and it can sound quite awful.

It would be better if you avoid the "hey".
It sounds more like "hen" but take away the "n" of course. It is better if you don't finish with the "y".

Dee-he

In spanish, the "J' sound like the "H" in english.

That uses a sound not used in english. We use it in scottish though. It's like "dee-chey" but the ch isn't hard like a 'k'. It comes from the back of the throat.

The letter 'j' in Spanish has the same pronunciation (or sound) as the letter 'h' in English.

However, I caution you to AVOID (Please, please, please!) the 'ey' sound at the end of that word. It sounds funny in Spanish. It's actually more like a short and dry 'eh' sound, like 'enemy', or 'medical'.

Hope it helps!
